Beneficiaries of the African Initiative for Rural Development (AIRD) in Fangak County came together to celebrate International Women’s Day, honoring the strength and resilience of women in their communities. The event brought together women participating in AIRD’s programs—including Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response, Food and Livelihood support, Education, and Community Care initiatives.

Through songs, testimonies, and cultural performances, beneficiaries reflected on how AIRD’s interventions have empowered them to support their families, pursue education, and advocate for their rights. The celebration underscored the vital role women play in community development and reinforced AIRD’s commitment to fostering gender equality and sustainable change in Fangak.
